General Manager Bryan Murray continues to shuffle the Mighty Duck roster and Monday, team officials got around to announcing that forward Dan Bylsma had been put on waivers.

Bylsma was put on waivers late last week, although team officials claimed that there had been no roster moves before Sunday’s game.

Bylsma was listed as a healthy scratch.

If he clears waivers Wednesday, he will be sent to Cincinnati, the Ducks’ minor league affiliate. He played 10 games for the Ducks after recovering from off-season knee surgery.

He is the second veteran player stealthily jettisoned. Craig Johnson was waived last week.

But Duck officials did not announce the move until after Toronto had claimed Johnson on Saturday.

In three previous seasons, Bylsma was an effective penalty killer and team leader for the Ducks.

“The bottom line, as anyone can see, is, we’re not scoring any goals,” Coach Mike Babcock said. “Dan did a great job here. He can be proud of himself.”

Although Bylsma was not part of the offensive disappointment -- Vaclav Prospal, Sergei Fedorov and Stanislav Chistov would seem to top that list -- the Ducks may fill his roster spot with Chris Kunitz, who leads Cincinnati in scoring with 15 goals and 31 points.
