A new Willy Wonka: Production has begun in London on “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” a new film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story, with Tim Burton directing and Johnny Depp starring as Willy Wonka, the eccentric candy maker portrayed by Gene Wilder in the 1971 version, “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
