Memorial Scheduled for Woman Slain in Home
Friends of Jane Hoyt Thompson, the Laguna Niguel woman slain by an intruder last month, have arranged a memorial service for July 18.
The 4 p.m. service will be at the O’Connor Laguna Hills Mortuary on Alicia Parkway.
According to Thompson’s friends, the 72-year-old was Jerry Lewis’ personal secretary and an associate producer of “All in the Family.”
A 15-year-old neighbor has been charged in the killing.
Donations can be made in Thompson’s name to three nonprofit organizations: Laura’s House, the Gwen Bolden Youth Foundation and the Dana Point Library.
