Mark Prior’s dejected look said it all.

Less than two innings into only his eighth start of the season, he was out of the game and probably out of the Chicago Cubs’ rotation again.

“I don’t know what I got going right now,” Prior said Thursday night after leaving in the second inning at Chicago because of discomfort in his pitching elbow.

The Cubs rallied for a 4-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers, but Prior’s status put a damper on any good feelings over the win.

“You can’t get any more worried than sick to your stomach. You just hope it’s nothing,” Cub Manager Dusty Baker said.

Prior is scheduled for an MRI exam today.

San Francisco 7, Colorado 5 -- Shawn Chacon hit J.T. Snow with a pitch with the bases loaded for the go-ahead run in San Francisco’s four-run ninth inning at Denver.

Colorado led, 4-3, heading into the ninth, but Chacon (1-6) couldn’t hold it -- again. It was Chacon’s seventh blown save in 27 chances.

Atlanta 8, Montreal 0 -- At Atlanta, Marcus Giles hit two doubles in his first game in two months, and Jaret Wright won his fifth decision in a row.

St. Louis 7, Cincinnati 2 -- Albert Pujols and Scott Rolen each hit a two-run homer at Cincinnati.

Matt Morris (10-6) settled down after giving up hits to the first two batters and worked out of his own jam in the sixth for his second consecutive win against Cincinnati.

New York 3, Philadelphia 2 -- Roberto Hernandez couldn’t handle Ty Wigginton’s bases-loaded comebacker in the 11th inning, allowing the winning run to score at New York.

Jose Parra (1-0) struck out two in a hitless 11th for his first win since Aug. 20, 1996.
