Authorities Seize 13,000 Pot Plants at Drug Farm
Local and federal law enforcement officials seized about 13,000 marijuana plants worth an estimated $30 million during a Monday pre-dawn raid of a drug farm south of Temecula, along the San Diego County line, officials said.
The San Diego Sheriff’s Department narcotics task force, along with the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Bureau of Land Management, conducted the raid.
None of the suspected growers, believed to be Mexican nationals, was present during the raid, a BLM official said.
