Amnesty Offer Ends; Only 5 Militants Accept

Saudi Arabia’s one-month amnesty for Islamists loyal to Al Qaeda expired with only five known to have taken the offer.
Cleric Safar Hawali said Saleh Awfi, believed to be the terrorist network’s leader in the kingdom, might yet surrender.
Al Qaeda supporters have waged a 14-month campaign of suicide bombings in Saudi Arabia against foreigners, state institutions and the oil industry.
