From Times Staff Reports

San Bernardino County vector control crews will conduct more neighborhood insecticide fogging in Fontana on Wednesday to kill mosquitoes they fear may carry West Nile virus. Eight people in the city have contracted the virus in the last month, health officials said.

The first fogging was conducted early Friday, but tests over the weekend found that additional fogging was needed. The area to be treated is bounded by Arrow Boulevard on the north, San Bernardino Avenue on the south, Alder Avenue to the east, and Mango Avenue to the west. Residents are advised to cover fish ponds, bring pets indoors, and stay inside during the spraying by a slow-moving truck between 5 and 6:30 a.m.
