Hate-Crime Allegation Filed Against 2 Students

Prosecutors have filed a hate-crime allegation against two 15-year-olds charged with plotting to attack classmates at their Elk Grove high school.
The Laguna Creek High School students are charged with conspiracy to commit murder and attempted burglary, both felonies. The hate-crime enhancement alleges that the teenagers targeted some students because they are black.
