Pot Operation Found During Hunt for Suspect

BLOCKSBURG
Sheriff’s deputies and federal agents looking for an alleged child molester in Humboldt County didn’t get their suspect, but they found a marijuana-growing operation.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department said deputies were assisting U.S. marshals in trying to arrest Jose Nunez, 50, of Blocksburg.
Nunez is wanted on warrants alleging aggravated sexual assault on a child and lewd or lascivious acts with a child by use of force or fear.
