Woman Disappears After Leaving Bar
Sonoma County deputies launched a massive search for a woman who disappeared after leaving a downtown bar and apparently suffered serious injury.
Sheriff’s deputies searched for Michelle Johnson, 32, of Guerneville, whose clothes were found -- along with blood -- early Sunday near Highway 116.
Investigators closed the road for nearly six hours while they combed the area for clues and a fire crew cleaned up. No weapons were found.
Investigators also were looking for a red extended-cab pickup, described as a Ford or Toyota, in which a witness reported possibly seeing Johnson around the time she was reported missing.
