2 KTLA Executives Promoted by Tribune Broadcasting
John E. Reardon, regional vice president and general manager of KTLA-TV in L.A., was promoted to group vice president of Tribune Broadcasting.
In his new post, Reardon will be responsible for stations in Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Denver, St. Louis, Seattle, New Orleans and Portland, Ore.
Reardon joined KTLA in 1992 as vice president and station manager. He was named general manager in 1996 and West Coast regional vice president in 2001.
Succeeding Reardon as KTLA’s general manager is Vincent Malcolm, who has served as station manager since January 2002.
Malcom joined KTLA in 1994 as regional sales manager and has been local sales manager and general sales manager.
Tribune Broadcasting is a unit of Chicago-based Tribune Co., whose holdings include the Los Angeles Times.
