Board Appoints InterimTop Administrator
From Times Staff Reports
The head of the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton on Tuesday was named temporary chief administrative for San Bernardino County, replacing Wally Hill, who resigned last week.
Mark Uffer, 50, chief executive for the hospital since 1999, was unanimously appointed by the Board of Supervisors to be the county’s top administrator, at least until the county adopts its annual budget this summer.
Uffer said he might be interested in seeking the job permanently.
