Madrid Train Bombing Toll Lowered to 190
From Times Wire Reports
Spanish officials revised the death toll in the March 11 Madrid train bombings to 190 from 202.
DNA tests showed that body parts originally thought to be from unidentified victims belonged to people already included in the death toll or to survivors who lost limbs, said Interior Ministry spokesman Richard Ibanez.
Officials confirmed that there was no evidence of a suicide bomber.
