LAPD Calls Off Mall Security Alert
From Times Staff Reports
Police said Friday they no longer believe there is a heightened possibility of a terrorist attack at an unspecified Westside mall.
Chief William J. Bratton said the report that an attack had been planned for last Thursday was still being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department and other agencies.
