Honor And Cherish, third in the La Primera Del Ano Derby on April 17, will try again for her second victory in tonight’s ninth, a $13,450 allowance at 300 yards.

Trained by Paul Jones for owners David and Susan Mackie, the 3-year-old First Down Dash filly has been second or third in her last five outings, after breaking her maiden by a neck Nov. 23. She has hit the board in nine of 12. Ramon Sanchez will ride.

Jones will also send out Hi Jazzing Amanda, who was a nose behind Honor And Cherish in the La Primera. A winner once in nine races, she will be ridden by Rodrigo Aceves.
