He Doesn’t Mind if They Win in a Walk
Regarding Dan Hruby’s letter of May 1: When I go to a Dodger-Giant game, I hope and expect to see a Dodger win. I really don’t care how they get it done, as long as it gets done.
I don’t go to a Dodger-Giant game to watch Barry Bonds hit, I go to root for my team to win. If that requires walking him four times, then so be it. Of course I would rather see him strike out four times, but I certainly don’t feel cheated if it doesn’t happen. And I would bet most true Dodger fans feel the same way.
