Motorcyclist’s death -- A news brief in Monday’s California section about the death of a motorcyclist who fell into an open mine shaft near Red Mountain incorrectly identified U.S. 395 as Interstate 395.

A search and rescue team found the man’s body about 7:30 p.m. roughly 500 feet down the mine shaft, a county dispatch supervisor said. The man’s name was not released.
