Theater awards: “The Tangled Snarl & Murder Me Once” was the top winner at the annual ceremony for the Artistic Director Achievement Awards sponsored by the Valley Theatre League, held Monday at El Portal Theatre in North Hollywood. The production at Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena won six awards, followed by Woodland Hills Theatre’s “The Heiress” with four.
