Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger offered rewards Wednesday for information leading to convictions in three unsolved murder cases, including the shootings of two camp counselors sleeping on a beach.

Rewards of $50,000 for each case are part of a governor’s program that has paid 18 of the 165 rewards it has offered since 1967 for help in solving difficult cases.

Rewards were offered in the following slayings:

* Jason Allen, 26, and Lindsay Cutshall, 23, were found dead Aug. 18 in their sleeping bags on a remote stretch of coastline near the Sonoma County town of Jenner. The couple were spending a weekend away from the Sierra foothills Christian camp where they worked. Both had been shot in the head.

* Tong Lo was shot Aug. 1, 2003, by masked gunmen at his family’s grocery store in Stockton. He died while his four children watched. The robbers fled with a bag of cash Lo was carrying. The governor offered a reward of $25,000 for each gunman.

* Cecilia Garcia was found dead Jan. 8, 2002, by family members in her Livermore home.

Anyone with information on any of the cases is asked to contact law enforcement in the community where the crime was committed.

The rewards are offered in cases where officers have pursued all leads and believe a reward will help. Victims’ family members must support the reward.
