She’s a Winner
Re “Kenyan Environmentalist Awarded Peace Prize,” Oct. 9: What a refreshing news story. It made me happy just to see the photo of Wangari Maathai and read about her accomplishments. With all of the election arguments and the bad news about Iraq, this was a high point for me.
It’s too bad our president cannot emulate the good works done by this woman. Thank you for such a heartwarming story.
