Ex-Nurse to Be Charged in 6 More Killings
A former nurse who has pleaded guilty to killing 17 patients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania will be charged with murder in six more cases, a prosecutor said in Philadelphia.
Charles Cullen allegedly gave fatal overdoses to five people at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, where he worked from 2000 to 2002, and will be charged with another patient’s death at Lehigh Valley Hospital, where he worked prior to St. Luke’s, Lehigh County Dist. Atty. James Martin said.
Most of the alleged victims were in their 70s or 80s and being treated for heart problems, Martin said.
