Riverside Councilman Is Stricken

Riverside City Councilman Steve Adams suffered a heart attack Friday evening and will undergo surgery this week, city officials announced Monday. In a written statement, Mayor Ron Loveridge said Adams was expected to make a full recovery.
Adams, 52, represents Ward 7, the westernmost part of Riverside. The retired police officer was elected to the council in January.
