Muslims Protest as Ramadan Banners Fall
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Muslim business owners in southeast San Diego have complained that the removal of 16 green-and-white Ramadan banners from lampposts was discriminatory. Muslim business leaders say the banners have been community fixtures for several years during the monthlong holiday.
