A student at Magnolia High School in Anaheim has tested positive for tuberculosis, prompting officials to alert parents and offer health screenings.

Principal Ken Fox said school officials learned of the case late Thursday after being notified by the Orange County Health Care Agency. The student is expected to make a full recovery.

The school sent a letter home with students Tuesday, informing parents and guardians of the case. A meeting will be held at the school at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 3. Testing, which is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 8, also will also be offered to students who might have been exposed to the pulmonary disease.
