The Defense Department last week also identified the following American military personnel killed in Iraq and Qatar:

Clarence Adams III, 28, of Richmond, Va.; specialist, Army. Adams died Tuesday of injuries he suffered Monday when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 91st Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Michael J. Allred, 22, of Hyde Park, Utah; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Allred was among seven Marines killed Monday when a bomb-laden vehicle was detonated near their convoy outside Fallouja, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Yoe M. Aneiros, 20, of Newark, N.J.; specialist, Army. Aneiros was killed Tuesday when his patrol vehicle came under attack by rocket-propelled grenades in Sadr City, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division at Ft. Riley, Kan.

John J. Boria, 29, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; captain, Air Force. Boria was killed Monday in an all-terrain-vehicle accident in Doha, Qatar. He was assigned to the 911th Air Refueling Squadron at Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D.

Elvis Bourdon, 36, of Youngstown, Ohio; staff sergeant, Army. Bourdon was killed Monday when his military vehicle came under attack by small-arms fire and grenades in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

David P. Burridge, 19, of Lafayette, La.; private first class, Marine Corps. Burridge was among seven Marines killed Monday when a bomb-laden vehicle was detonated near their convoy outside Fallouja, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Chad H. Drake, 23, of Garland, Texas; specialist, Army. Drake was killed Tuesday when his patrol vehicle came under attack by small-arms fire in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

James D. Faulkner, 23, of Clarksville, Ind.; sergeant, Army. Faulkner died Wednesday when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 20th Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Tomas Garces, 19, of Weslaco, Texas; specialist, Army National Guard. Garces was killed Monday when his convoy was attacked by enemy forces using an improvised explosive device in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1836th Transportation Company, Army National Guard at Ft. Bliss, Texas.

Derek L. Gardner, 20, of San Juan Capistrano; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Gardner was among seven Marines killed Monday when a bomb-laden vehicle was detonated near their convoy outside Fallouja, Iraq. He was assigned to Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Devin J. Grella, 21, of Medina, Ohio; private first class, Army Reserve. Grella was killed Monday when an improvised explosive device detonated near his convoy vehicle in Iraq. He was assigned to the 706th Transportation Company, Army Reserve in Mansfield, Ohio.

Quinn A. Keith, 21, of Page, Ariz.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Keith was among seven Marines killed Monday when a bomb-laden vehicle was detonated near their convoy outside Fallouja, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Eric L. Knott, 21, of Grand Island, Neb.; petty officer 3rd class, Navy. Knott was killed Sept. 4 in a mortar attack near Fallouja, Iraq. He was assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 in Port Hueneme.

Charles R. Lamb, 23, of Casey, Ill.; specialist, Army National Guard. Lamb was killed Sept. 5 in a mortar attack in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 1544th Transportation Company, Army National Guard in Paris, Ill.

McCarthy was among seven Marines killed Monday when a bomb-laden vehicle was detonated near their convoy outside Fallouja, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Ryan M. McCauley, 20, of Lewisville, Texas; private first class, Army. McCauley was killed Sept. 5 when his patrol came under attack by small-arms fire in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Shawna M. Morrison, 26, of Champaign, Ill.; sergeant, Army National Guard. Morrison was killed Sept. 5 in a mortar attack in Baghdad. She was assigned to the 1544th Transportation Company, Army National Guard in Paris, Ill.

Timothy E. Price, 25, of Midlothian, Va.; first lieutenant, Army. Price was killed Tuesday when he came under attack by small-arms fire in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 127th Military Police Company, 709th Military Police Battalion, 18th Military Police Brigade, V Corps in Hanau, Germany.

Brandon M. Read, 21, of Greeneville, Tenn.; specialist, Army Reserve. Read was killed Monday when his convoy was attacked with an improvised explosive device in Qayyarah West, Iraq. He was assigned to the 125th Transportation Company, Army Reserve in Lexington, Ky.

Gary A. Vaillant, 41, of Trujillo, Puerto Rico; staff sergeant, Army. Vaillant was killed Sept. 5 when his tank ran over an improvised explosive device in Khaldiya, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 72nd Armor Regiment at Camp Casey, Korea.

Nicholas Wilt, 23, of Tampa, Fla.; lance corporal, Marine Corps. Wilt was among four Marines killed Sept. 3 in an explosion in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, Calif.
