Always room for one more
Game-show producer Richard Kline has so many children, he just kept adding on to his Studio City home.
The result was not a hodgepodge of rooms with stairways leading nowhere, as in San Jose’s famous Winchester House. Kline’s home, which had 13 children living in it at one point, has the look of a stately manor and the comfort of a mountain lodge. In short, it met the needs of the co-producer of such shows as “Win, Lose or Draw” (1987-90) and his family.
Most of Kline’s children are adopted and of different races. He has 15 kids, most of them grown and living on their own. Except for a 2-year-old, they range in age from 17 to 35.
Kline was divorced from his wife of 25 years and is now remarried and living in Connecticut.
About this house: Kline bought the 1951 house, which has hardwood floors and ceilings, more than 30 years ago from actress Jane Fonda.
