New reality TV: Spears’ marriage

First, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey headlined MTV’s reality series, “Newlyweds.” Now the newly married Britney Spears and Kevin Federline plan to bring their lives to the small screen in a six-part series for UPN.

Shot mainly by the couple with their own camera, the series will air later this season and will give viewers what UPN described as a “rare glimpse inside the couple’s relationship and life together.”

The series will repeat on MTV and/or VH1, which, like UPN, are owned by Viacom.
