Carradine cast in ‘Stuff Happens’

Keith Carradine, whose previous portrayals of historical figures include Will Rogers (“The Will Rogers Follies”) and Wild Bill Hickok (“Deadwood”), will play George W. Bush in “Stuff Happens” at the Mark Taper Forum, opening June 5.

Among the other actors in David Hare’s play about the decisions that produced the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq will be Julian Sands as Tony Blair, Dakin Matthews as Dick Cheney, John Michael Higgins as Donald Rumsfeld, Tyrees Allen as Colin Powell, Lorraine Toussaint as Condoleezza Rice, Mitchell Edmonds as George Tenet, Kip Gilman as Paul Wolfowitz, Alan Oppenheimer as Hans Blix and Stephen Spinella as Dominique de Villepin, the former French foreign minister.
