Bogues Hired to Coach Sting
Muggsy Bogues was hired Wednesday as coach of the struggling Charlotte Sting, replacing Trudi Lacey, who will remain the team’s general manager.
Bogues ran practice in the afternoon. Charlotte has the league’s worst record at 3-21, with four fewer victories than San Antonio -- the last-place team in the Western Conference.
