Significant Expansion Is Planned by Kohl’s

Department store operator Kohl’s Corp. said it would open about 500 outlets during the next five years.
The Menomonee, Wis.-based company plans to operate 1,200 stores, boosting sales to $24 billion by 2010. Kohl’s, which currently has 670 stores, said it would open 94 through the third quarter of this year.
