Drunk Driving Suspect Held in Fatal Accident

A 27-year-old Quartz Hill man who reported that he may have struck a pedestrian after a night of drinking was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, authorities said.
The victim, an unidentified man, was found lying on the shoulder of a road near Division Street and Avenue F-6, according to the California Highway Patrol. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
