Man’s Body Found in Motel Swimming Pool

The body of a man thought to have drowned was found Wednesday in a motel swimming pool, authorities said.
Charles Shean III, 46, whose permanent address was unknown, was found about 3:30 p.m. in the pool at the Best Western Anaheim Sportstown in the 1700 block of East Katella Avenue, said Kelly Crawford of the coroner’s office.
He was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was scheduled for today, Crawford said.
