Santa Ana Man Dies at Scene of Collision
A man who was killed in a weekend collision was identified Monday as Chun Hong Kim of Santa Ana, officials said.
Kim, 66, was driving west on Fairhaven Avenue near Lowry Street at 6:35 p.m. Sunday when the driver of a green pickup, Kenneth Perez, 23, of Murrieta, changed lanes and struck his sport utility vehicle, police said.
Kim slammed into a light pole and through a chain-link fence. The truck swerved off the road and struck a retaining wall. Perez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter.
