Man Gets Year in Jail for Vehicular Manslaughter

A 19-year-old Walnut man was sentenced Tuesday to a year in County Jail after his conviction earlier this month on a charge of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
Prosecutors said Sang Woo Park was speeding when his car struck a curb and hit three light poles and a wall before coming to rest against a fence last September in Rowland Heights, killing passenger Anhuey Ning, 18, of Rowland Heights.
