‘Munich’ anger

Share

FROM the Talmud: “Adam koneh et-olamo b’sha’ah ahat.” “A man buys his world in one hour.”

The opposite is true too. Steven Spielberg lost it all with “Munich.” All.

He is too much a product of Hollywood to be able to make a movie not afraid to get up and say that it is all the Arabs’ fault. The Jews are innocent victims.

The new Hollywood tack is: The terrorists are people too. Equal to their victims. Equal to those killing them.

We saw a movie that deals with an Israeli avenger who is being tormented by guilt. A good movie. An honest movie. “Walk on Water” [2004]. This movie did not equalize the avengers with the killers of Jewish innocents.

The avengers are people, but it is hard to give this title to terrorists.

There is no chance in hell I am going to see Spielberg’s decrepit movie. I have too much respect for the dead athletes, and no respect whatsoever for Spielberg.

This pathetic false messiah tells us that this movie is supposed to bring peace? It will bring money and blood. Tears too. It will bring more hatred. A lying movie brings nothing good. Nothing.

I can’t fathom people like Spielberg, a liberal Jew who tries to “understand” people who want to kill him and every Jew.

What is there to understand?

It is a good thing for Israel that most Israelis have a much more realistic picture of their Muslim neighbors than rich, safe American liberals like Spielberg.
