Casting Call Made for Baseball Fanatics

Major League Baseball will hold an open casting call for Angel fans today, from noon to 8 p.m., at Angel Stadium of Anaheim for its “I Live for This” advertising campaign.
The most “passionate and dedicated” fan or group of fans over the age of 8 will be flown to Miami in mid-February to represent the Angels in a television commercial, officials said.
“We’re looking for what makes these fans passionate about their team or why they live for baseball,” said Kathleen Fineout, a league spokeswoman. Fans can begin lining up at 9 a.m. outside Gate 1.
