No. 14 Iowa State Upset

Kiera Hardy scored 27 points and Jina Johansen finished with a career-best 16 points and nine assists, leading Nebraska to an 88-59 victory over No. 14 Iowa State on Saturday night in Lincoln, Neb.

Nebraska, 15-8 overall and 7-4 in the Big 12 Conference, raced to a 24-point lead in the first half and stayed comfortably ahead in front of a season-high crowd of 12,429 at the Devaney Center.

Megan Ronhovde scored 12 to lead Iowa State (18-4, 8-3).

The 29-point victory was Nebraska’s largest winning margin over Iowa State since an 88-49 victory over the Cyclones in 1994. Iowa State had won 13 of the last 14 meetings.

No. 6 Notre Dame 72, Georgetown 58 -- Jacqueline Batteast had 20 points and eight rebounds at South Bend, Ind., as the Fighting Irish (22-3 overall, 10-2 Big East) defeated the Hoyas (9-13, 4-7) for their ninth victory in a row. Notre Dame pulled away after Georgetown had closed within two points with 12:41 remaining.

No. 7 Baylor 87, Oklahoma State 51 -- Sophia Young had 24 points and 10 rebounds at Waco, Texas, as the Bears (19-3 overall, 9-2 Big 12) defeated the Cowboys (7-14, 2-9).

No. 22 Boston College 75, Syracuse 50 -- Brooke Queenan scored 16 points at Syracuse, N.Y., as the Eagles (16-6 overall, 7-4 Big East) ended a three-game losing skid and defeated the Orange (11-12, 3-9).
