Holiday closures
Monday is Presidents Day. The following schedules will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Offices: All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed.
Mail: There will be no mail delivery; post offices will be closed.
Libraries: Most libraries will be closed.
Banks: Most banking institutions will be closed.
Schools: Public schools will be closed.
Public transit: MTA buses and Metro Rail lines will provide regular weekday service. Metrolink will operate on a reduced schedule. For information call (800) 371-LINK or log onto www.metrolinktrains.com.
Trash collection: The city of Los Angeles will maintain regular pickup schedules.
