Botox Technique Found to Relieve Migraines

Surgical treatment of migraine headaches can relieve pain and reduce time missed from work by 73%, researchers from Case Western Reserve University reported in the January issue of Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery. Researchers injected Botox into nerves in the forehead and back of the head to identify which were triggering the headaches, then surgically removed the nerves. The technique eliminated migraines for 35% of the patients.
