Judge Rejects Bail for Son of Mob Boss Gotti

A federal judge in New York City denied bail for the son of the late mob boss John Gotti, saying evidence strongly supported charges that he was a leader of the Gambino crime family.
Judge Shira Scheindlin decided to keep John A. “Junior” Gotti in prison until his August trial. Gotti, 40, is charged with engaging in attempted murders and murder conspiracies as part of a racketeering plot.
