Sales of U.S. consumer electronics jumped 11% in 2004, lifted by the popularity of digital radio, televisions, laptops and Apple Computer Inc.’s iPod music player, an industry group said.

Sales to dealers will grow another 11% this year to $121 billion, Consumer Electronics Assn. Chief Executive Gary Shapiro said in Las Vegas. He said 2004’s growth was “almost triple” his expectation.
