‘Cuckoo’s Nest’ takes the stage

Share

The new year finds Oxnard’s Elite Theater Company with a new artistic director, Tom Eubanks, and a new production, all about serio-comic mayhem. “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” adapted for the stage by Tony Wasserman, resonates with the power of Ken Kesey’s words from his original novel and Jack Nicholson’s memorable role in the film version. Sean Ogren directs a sizable cast led by Marc Hart and Christi Griffith in the tale of a wild-card character in a psychiatric ward.
