Redlands Races to 172-107 Win
Forward Carson Sofro scored 34 points Thursday night to lead Redlands to a 172-107 victory over La Sierra in the championship game of the Holiday tournament at Redlands.
It is the most points scored this season by the Bulldogs (9-2), who crushed Robert Morris, 160-104, in the opening game of the tournament on Wednesday night.
Redlands made 63 of 129 shots against La Sierra (4-12), including 35 of 89 from three-point range. Redlands attempted only 15 free throws, making 11.
The Bulldogs, who had six players score in double figures, raced to a 93-53 lead at halftime.
Michael Stottlemyer scored 21 points for La Sierra, which made 44 of its 91 shots from the field. Darwyn Adams added 18.
