Angels’ New Moniker

Share

Re “Los Angeles Angels*,” editorial, Jan. 5: Why can’t the Angels have their cake and eat it -- and satisfy the hunger of Anaheim politicos for their name recognition, to wit: the Anaheim Angels of the Greater Los Angeles Area that Includes Tijuana and Other Points South. Or, the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles and New York. Or, the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles Who Will Always Have Paris.

Works for me, but I live in New Hampshire, where we are expected to root for the Red Sox, which, due to their World Series championship, are now just another boring baseball team of overpaid boneheads, so anything is better.
