3 U.S. Troops Killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD —
Two U.S. Marines and a soldier were killed in two incidents Thursday in Iraq, the military said today.
A statement said the Marines, assigned to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, were killed “while conducting security and stability operations” in Al Anbar province, which includes the cities of Fallouja and Ramadi.
Another statement said a 1st Infantry Division soldier “supporting Task Force Olympia operations” died near Mosul.
More than 1,350 U.S. service members have died since the war began in March 2003.
