PalmOne Exec Named Senior VP at Cisco

PalmOne Inc., maker of the Treo mobile telephone and hand-held computer, said Angel Mendez, head of global operations, would leave to become senior vice president of worldwide manufacturing at Cisco Systems Inc.
Mendez, 44, joined PalmOne in July 2001, the Milpitas, Calif.-based company said. Prior to PalmOne, he was vice president of global supply chain management at Gateway Inc.
