Three people have been charged with capital murder in the fatal shooting of a popular store owner near the Beverly Center, the district attorney’s office announced Tuesday.

Two men and two women have been arrested in connection with the death of Jae Yang, who was shot in the face at St. Regis Liquor Store, an attack captured by a surveillance camera.

Eric Butler, 24, Robert Arceneaux, 23, and Letoya Robinson, 21, each face a count of murder committed during the course of a robbery and a count each of second-degree robbery, authorities said. They were being held without bail. The fourth suspect, Tequita Lee, 24, was arrested Tuesday and has not been arraigned, according to the district attorney’s office.

Authorities also have identified a fifth suspect. Police and city officials asked for the public’s help in finding Kenneth Peoples, 22, described as an African American with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 7 and 135 pounds. Peoples may be driving a white 2000 or 2001 four-door Chevrolet Malibu with tinted rear windows.

The attack occurred Dec. 18. Two people carrying guns and wearing masks entered the liquor store at 3rd Street and Orlando Avenue and shot Yang, 59, of Oxnard during the robbery.
