Grizzlies Stay on Roll Without Key Players

The Grizzlies won for the 12th time in their last 14 games Tuesday night, defeating the Orlando Magic, 95-83, behind seven double-figure scorers and without two of their best players at Memphis, Tenn.

Stromile Swift had 18 points and Memphis outscored Orlando, 18-4, in the final 4:05.

Memphis was missing Pau Gasol, their leading scorer and rebounder, who went on the injured list because of a left foot injury. Key reserve Bonzi Wells also was sidelined by a groin strain.

Phoenix 133, New York 118 -- Quentin Richardson made seven of the Suns’ team-record tying 16 three-pointers and Phoenix had its highest point total of the season at New York.

Amare Stoudemire scored 29 points and Richardson added 25 for Phoenix, which easily eclipsed its previous season high of 124 points.

Jamal Crawford had 40 points, but the Knicks lost their seventh consecutive game.

Chicago 111, Denver 107 -- Kirk Hinrich had 23 points at Chicago to help the Bulls win for the 11th time in their last 12 games. The Bulls had their streak of holding opponents under 100 points stopped at 26 games. Denver’s Carmelo Anthony scored 32 points.

Sacramento 113, New Jersey 93 -- Brad Miller made 11 straight shots at one point en route to a season-high 31 points to lead the Kings at Sacramento. The Kings were without Chris Webber, who has a sprained ankle.

Boston 97, Charlotte 92 -- Paul Pierce had 33 points to help the Celtics end their nine-game road losing streak. Charlotte, losers of nine in a row, got 20 points from Emeka Okafor.
