Mayor Names Deputy for Neighborhood Services

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has named Larry Frank to be deputy mayor for neighborhood and community services.
Frank, director of the UCLA Center for Labor Research and Education, will work with neighborhood councils and other community groups.
An attorney and longtime friend of the new mayor, he has been an organizer for the United Farm Workers of America and a number of other unions.
