2 Hurt, 1 Missing After Fighter Jets Crash

Two fighter jets based at Lemoore Naval Air Station collided in midair during a training exercise Monday, officials said.
Two of the three crewmen were rescued from the crash site and were listed in serious condition. Rescue crews were still searching for the third man hours after the 11:29 a.m. crash, said base spokesman Dennis McGrath. Neither of the fighter jets carried live ammunition.
